This is one of our favorite photos from our trip to St. Augustine in Febraury 2008. They call this place the "Murder House". As the story goes, in 1974 the mayor of St. Augustine's wife was murdered at this very house. Her body was found nearly decapitated on the front door step of the home. It took us a little while to find Marine Street while exploring St. Augustine, but it is just a ways down from the popular historic district. There was a rather eery feeling surrounding the home. Many report apparitions of the woman. We were pretty sure people now lived in the house, so we really couldn't walk up to it and explore. We slowly drove by and snapped a picture. We were very surprised when we reviewed the photo and found a glowing orb near the doorstep...the site of the murder. Legitimate or not, it was a startling coincidence.  (note: the picture has been a bit cropped to fit in the space, so to see it better please visit the photo gallery)
